This Peach Sorbet Without Ice Cream Maker is summer in a bowl—bright, fruity, and unbelievably easy with just 3 ingredients! No ice cream maker needed. Sweet ripe peaches, a touch of sugar, and a splash of lemon juice come together in the smoothest, most refreshing sorbet you’ve ever had. Naturally gluten-free and dairy-free, and perfect for cooling off on a warm day!


Ingredients

  • 800 g peeled and sliced ripe yellow peaches (fresh or frozen)

  • 200 g caster sugar

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice, to taste


Instructions

  • Slice your peaches into eighths and peel each slice. If using frozen peaches, allow them to thaw slightly.

  • Add the peaches and caster sugar to a food processor. Blend until completely smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed.

  • Gradually add lemon juice, tasting as you go, until the flavor pops just right.

  • Transfer the mixture into a freezer-safe container. Smooth out the top and freeze for 6–7 hours, or until firm.

  • Let the sorbet sit at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping. Serve and enjoy your sunshine-sweet treat!

Notes

  • Don’t skip the lemon juice—it may sound unusual, but it enhances the peach flavor and balances the sweetness beautifully.

  • Use a 4:1 ratio of fruit to sugar by weight to ensure the perfect creamy consistency. For example, 800 g of peaches = 200 g of sugar.

  • You can use frozen peaches—just thaw slightly before blending.

  • Add-ins like vanilla, fresh herbs (mint or basil), or a splash of vodka are great for extra flair and flavor!

  • For slightly softer sorbet, stir once halfway through freezing.
