Description

This irresistibly creamy Spinach Artichoke Dip is loaded with tender spinach, hearty artichoke hearts, and a little jalapeño kick for good measure! It’s super easy, coming together in just 15 minutes with simple ingredients. A guaranteed crowd-pleaser for any party, game night, or cozy evening at home!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, reduced fat is ok

  • 16 oz light sour cream

  • 1 stick (8 tablespoons) unsalted butter

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Parmesan cheese

  • 14 oz canned quartered artichoke hearts, drained and coarsely chopped

  • 4 oz canned diced jalapeños, drained

  • 10 oz frozen spinach, thawed and drained

  • 23 garlic cloves, pressed

Instructions

  • In a medium pot over medium heat, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, butter, and Parmesan cheese. Stir frequently until fully melted and smooth. The mixture should start to bubble gently.

  • Stir in the chopped artichokes, drained jalapeños, and drained spinach (make sure to squeeze out all excess water from the spinach!).

  • Press in the garlic cloves and stir everything together until well combined.

  • Serve hot with tortilla chips, crackers, or toasted baguette slices.

  • Optional: For a golden-browned top, broil the dip for 2–3 minutes before serving!

Notes

  • Spinach Tip: Really squeeze out as much water as possible from the thawed spinach to avoid a watery dip!

  • Cheese Lovers: Feel free to mix in some shredded mozzarella or Monterey Jack for extra gooeyness.

  • Spicy Lovers: Add a dash of hot sauce or crushed red pepper flakes for an extra kick.

  • Make-Ahead: You can prepare this dip in advance, refrigerate it, and reheat it gently when ready to serve!

  • Equipment:

    • Medium pot

    • Wooden spoon or heat-resistant spatula

    • Garlic press
