Description

Burrata Toast with Pistachios and Hot Honey is a fast, creamy, and flavor-packed toast featuring olive oil–fried sourdough, luscious burrata, crushed pistachios, and a drizzle of spicy-sweet hot honey.

Ingredients

• 2 slices sourdough bread

• 1 ball burrata, halved

• 2 tablespoons hot honey (such as Mike’s Hot Honey)

• 2 tablespoons pistachios, roughly crushed

• 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

1. Brush both sides of sourdough with olive oil.

2. Toast in a hot skillet for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crisp.

3. Tear open the burrata and spread half onto each toast while still warm.

4. Drizzle hot honey generously over the top.

5. Sprinkle with crushed pistachios and serve immediately.

Notes

– Use homemade hot honey by combining honey and red pepper flakes.

– Substitute burrata with fresh mozzarella or stracciatella if needed.

– Day-old bread toasts better and holds up to the toppings.

– Best served fresh; components can be prepped ahead separately.

– Sprinkle flaky salt or lemon zest to elevate flavor even more.
