Description

Caprese Bruschetta Dip is a warm, cheesy, tomato-packed appetizer layered with mozzarella, cream cheese, garlic-sautéed cherry tomatoes, and fresh basil—finished with a balsamic glaze.


Ingredients

• 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

• 1 tablespoon olive oil

• 1 clove garlic, minced

• 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

• 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

• 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

• 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

• 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

• 1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt

• 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil

• 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze, for drizzling

• Toasted baguette slices or crostini, for serving


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly oil a small baking dish.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add cherry tomatoes and garlic. Sauté for 4–5 minutes until tomatoes soften.

3. Season the tomato mixture with sea salt and black pepper.

4. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, and sour cream until smooth.

5. Spread the cheese mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.

6. Top with the sautéed tomatoes.

7. Bake for 15–18 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.

8. Remove from oven, sprinkle with chopped basil, and drizzle with balsamic glaze.

9. Serve warm with toasted baguette slices or crostini.

Notes

– Use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream for a protein boost.

– You can substitute cherry tomatoes with grape tomatoes.

– Fresh mozzarella pearls work beautifully in place of shredded cheese.

– This dish can be assembled ahead and baked just before serving.
