Description

Creamy Cajun Chicken Linguine with Garlic Parmesan Sauce is a bold, comforting 30-minute pasta featuring smoky Cajun-spiced chicken, tender linguine, and a velvety garlic-Parmesan cream sauce.

Ingredients

• 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced

• 12 oz linguine pasta

• 2 tbsp olive oil

• 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning

• 1 tsp smoked paprika

• 1/2 tsp garlic powder

• 4 cloves garlic, minced

• 1 cup heavy cream

• 1/2 cup chicken broth

• 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

• Salt and pepper to taste

• Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Cook linguine in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Toss sliced chicken with Cajun seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

3. Sear chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 4–5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

4. Reduce heat to medium. Add garlic to the same pan and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

5. Pour in chicken broth and deglaze the pan, then stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.

6. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and sauce begins to thicken.

7. Return chicken to the skillet and toss with cooked linguine. Add a splash of reserved pasta water if needed.

8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

– Use half-and-half instead of heavy cream for a lighter version.

– Shrimp can be used in place of chicken for a seafood twist.

– Fettuccine or penne pasta also work well if linguine isn’t available.

– Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

– Reheat gently on the stovetop with a splash of cream or broth.
