Description

Garlic Butter Cod Strips with Sweet Chili Lime Sauce is a quick, flavorful seafood dinner with crispy pan-seared cod, rich garlic butter, and a zesty sweet chili lime glaze that brings the whole dish to life.

Ingredients

• 1 lb cod fillets, cut into strips

• 4 tbsp unsalted butter

• 3 cloves garlic, minced

• 1 tsp paprika

• Salt and black pepper, to taste

• 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

• ¼ cup sweet chili sauce

• Juice of 1 lime

• Zest of 1 lime

• 1 tsp soy sauce

• 1 tsp sesame oil

• 1 tsp Sriracha (optional)

Instructions

1. Pat cod strips dry with paper towels and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.

2. In a small bowl, mix sweet chili sauce, lime juice, lime zest, soy sauce, sesame oil, and Sriracha. Set aside.

3. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.

4. Place cod strips in the pan. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until golden and flaky.

5. Reduce heat and pour sauce into the skillet. Let simmer for 1 minute, coating the fish.

6. Transfer cod to a plate. Spoon extra sauce on top and garnish with parsley.

7. Serve hot with rice, vegetables, or salad.

Notes

– Use fresh or thawed cod for best texture.

– Substitute haddock, tilapia, or pollock if cod isn’t available.

– For extra heat, increase Sriracha or add red pepper flakes.

– Serve with jasmine rice or a mango slaw for balance.

– Store leftovers in the fridge up to 3 days. Reheat gently in skillet.
