Description

Honey Feta Sweet Potato Bites are roasted rounds with caramelized edges, coated in warm spices and drizzled with honey, then topped with crumbled feta and herbs. A sweet, savory, and slightly spicy twist perfect for side dishes or party platters.

Ingredients

• 3 large sweet potatoes

• 3 tablespoons olive oil

• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

• 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

• 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

• 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander

• 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

• 1 teaspoon kosher salt

• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

• 1 tablespoon hot honey (plus more for serving)

• 1/3 cup crumbled feta cheese

• Fresh chives or parsley, chopped

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.

2. Wash and dry sweet potatoes. Slice into 1/3-inch thick rounds.

3. Drizzle olive oil on a large sheet tray and coat the potato slices.

4. In a small bowl, mix all spices. Sprinkle over sweet potatoes evenly.

5. Drizzle with hot honey and flip slices to ensure full coating.

6. Roast in oven for 20 minutes. Flip and roast another 20–25 minutes until edges are golden and crispy.

7. Transfer to a serving platter. Season with a pinch of salt.

8. Drizzle more hot honey on top. Sprinkle crumbled feta and chopped herbs.

9. Serve warm as a side or appetizer.

Notes

– For milder heat, use regular honey instead of hot honey.

– Japanese sweet potatoes can be used for a nuttier flavor.

– Try goat cheese or blue cheese instead of feta for variation.

– Don’t crowd the baking tray—give space for better crisping.

– Best served fresh, but leftovers reheat well in the oven.
