Description
Hot Honey Tomato Burrata Dip is a creamy, spicy-sweet appetizer made with roasted cherry tomatoes, rich burrata cheese, and drizzled hot honey. Served warm with bread or crackers, it’s ready in just 25 minutes.
Ingredients
• 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
• Salt and pepper, to taste
• 1 ball burrata cheese
• 2 teaspoons hot honey
• Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
• Crackers or toasted bread, for serving
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss halved cherry tomatoes with olive oil, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
2. Spread tomatoes on a baking sheet and roast for 15–20 minutes until blistered and caramelized.
3. Transfer tomatoes to a shallow serving dish. Nestle the burrata in the center while tomatoes are still hot.
4. Drizzle hot honey over the burrata and tomatoes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
5. Serve warm with toasted bread or crackers for dipping.
Notes
– To reduce heat, use less red pepper flakes or skip entirely.
– For extra flavor, add minced garlic or dried oregano before roasting.
– Best served fresh, but leftover tomatoes can be refrigerated and used in pasta or toast.
– Do not freeze — burrata does not hold up well in freezing temperatures.
