Description

Mini Pizza with Brie, Cranberries and Toasted Walnuts with a Hot Honey Drizzle is an elegant, quick appetizer layered with melty brie, tart cranberries, crunchy toasted walnuts, and a drizzle of spicy-sweet hot honey — perfect for holidays or cozy gatherings.


Ingredients

• 4 mini pizza crusts or naan rounds

• 2 tablespoons olive oil

• 5 ounces Brie cheese, sliced

• 1/4 cup dried cranberries

• 1/4 cup toasted walnuts, chopped

• 2 tablespoons honey

• 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

• Fresh thyme leaves or baby arugula, for garnish

• Pinch of sea salt


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Place mini naan or pizza crusts on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.

3. Top each crust with slices of brie, followed by cranberries and chopped toasted walnuts.

4. Bake for 10–12 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges of the crust are golden.

5. Meanwhile, stir together honey and red pepper flakes in a small bowl.

6. Once pizzas are done, drizzle with the hot honey mixture while still warm.

7. Garnish with fresh thyme or arugula, add a pinch of sea salt, and serve immediately.

Notes

– Substitute goat cheese or Camembert for a twist on the flavor.

– Fig jam or balsamic glaze can replace hot honey for a different finish.

– These are best served fresh, but leftovers can be stored for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven.

– Use gluten-free flatbreads for a GF-friendly version.

– Great paired with sparkling wine, mulled cider, or arugula salad.
