Description

Sizzling Scallops with Zesty Lime Cilantro Sauce are seared to golden perfection, then finished with a bright, creamy citrus-herb sauce. A restaurant-style seafood dinner ready in just 20 minutes.

Ingredients

• 1 lb sea scallops (dry-packed)

• 2 tbsp olive oil

• 1 tbsp butter

• 2 garlic cloves, minced

• 2 tbsp fresh lime juice

• 1 tsp lime zest

• 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

• 1/4 cup Greek yogurt (or sour cream)

• 1 tsp honey

• Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Pat scallops dry with paper towels and season lightly with salt and pepper.

2. Blend lime juice, zest, garlic, yogurt, cilantro, honey, and a pinch of salt until smooth. Set aside.

3. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.

4. Once hot, add scallops flat-side down. Sear 2 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.

5. Plate scallops and drizzle generously with lime cilantro sauce.

6. Garnish with extra cilantro and lime wedges, and serve immediately.

Notes

– Use only dry-packed scallops for best sear—avoid wet-packed.

– You can substitute lemon juice if limes aren’t available.

– For a spicier kick, blend in a pinch of jalapeño or chili flakes.

– This recipe pairs well with jasmine rice or roasted veggies.

– Leftovers should be stored in the fridge and reheated gently.
